4-Piece Viridescent Venerer — Recommended for Venti’s traditional support role because it increases Swirl damage and reduces enemy resistance to the element being Swirled.
Alternative: 4-Piece Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City can be useful when supporting Anemo damage dealers, while his newer on-field Hexerei build can use more offensive artifact sets instead.

F2P: Song of Stillness
The Daybreak Chronicles is Venti’s newer signature weapon and performs extremely well for his personal damage, including his off-field playstyle. The Stringless remains a useful accessible option for reaction-focused support builds thanks to its Elemental Mastery and Skill/Burst damage bonus.

Anemo Carry: Wanderer + Venti + Faruzan + Bennett
Reaction: Venti + Fischl + Sethos + Baizhu
Venti remains particularly valuable against groups of enemies that can be pulled into his Burst. His grouping allows teammates with strong AoE attacks to hit multiple enemies simultaneously, while his Burst can also refund Energy to Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo teammates when it absorbs the corresponding element.

Priority: Energy Recharge until needed → Elemental Mastery or CRIT → ATK%
Venti can use either an EM-focused or CRIT-focused build depending on the team and content. EM becomes particularly effective when he can trigger many Swirls against multiple enemies, while a conventional ATK/Anemo/CRIT setup becomes more attractive for his personal Anemo damage and single-target situations.
5. Playstyle
Use Venti’s Elemental Skill to generate Energy and deal Anemo damage, then activate his Elemental Burst to create Stormeye, which continuously pulls nearby enemies together and deals Anemo damage.
Stormeye can absorb Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo and deal additional damage of that element. Venti’s grouping is especially powerful against multiple lightweight enemies, allowing both his own Burst and his teammates’ AoE attacks to hit several targets simultaneously.
Venti also has a newer Hexerei playstyle. After completing his Witch’s Homework and activating his Hexerei passive with another Hexerei teammate, his Normal Attacks can become Anemo Windsunder Arrows during his Burst, allowing him to function as an on-field DPS or reaction driver rather than only an off-field support.
6. F2P
Venti remains useful without a limited 5-star weapon because his grouping, Swirl application, and Energy refund are built directly into his kit.
Accessible weapons such as Song of Stillness can support personal damage, while players who already own The Stringless can continue using it effectively in reaction-focused builds. His traditional support role also does not require expensive CRIT artifacts when using a full Elemental Mastery setup.
F2P players should prioritize enough Energy Recharge for reliable Burst uptime, then choose between EM for reaction-heavy teams or offensive CRIT stats for personal Anemo damage.
*StoryBillion Tip: Venti is no longer limited to his classic off-field crowd-control role. His newer Hexerei passive can turn him into an on-field Anemo DPS or reaction driver, but it requires another Hexerei character in the team to activate. Without that setup, his traditional Burst-focused support build remains the straightforward choice.
