Best For: Players who want a straightforward on-field damage dealer who combines fast Claymore attacks with Electro for Physical or reaction-focused teams.
1. Recommended Artifacts
4-Piece Pale Flame — A strong option for Physical Razor, increasing Physical DMG while allowing him to gain additional ATK and Physical DMG through his Elemental Skill.
Alternative: 2-Piece Pale Flame + 2-Piece Bloodstained Chivalry provides consistent Physical DMG without requiring Razor to maintain Pale Flame stacks.
2. Recommended Weapons
Premium: Beacon of the Reed Sea
Alternatives: Serpent Spine, Wolf’s Gravestone, Song of Broken Pines
F2P: Prototype Archaic
Beacon of the Reed Sea provides CRIT Rate and ATK, making it a strong general damage option. Song of Broken Pines is particularly useful for a dedicated Physical build because of its Physical DMG Bonus.
Prototype Archaic is a simple craftable F2P option that provides ATK and additional damage without requiring a specific team setup.
3. Recommended Teams
Physical: Razor + Rosaria + Fischl + Zhongli
Aggravate: Razor + Yaoyao + Fischl + Kazuha
Dendro Reaction: Razor + Nahida + Xingqiu + Bennett
Physical Razor benefits from Cryo teammates because Electro and Cryo can trigger Superconduct, reducing enemy Physical RES. Fischl also provides useful off-field damage and Electro particles while Razor remains on-field.

Sands: ATK%
Goblet: Physical DMG Bonus
Circlet: CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG
Priority: CRIT → ATK% → Energy Recharge
Physical Razor primarily wants conventional offensive stats, with Physical DMG Bonus strengthening the Normal Attacks that make up much of his damage.
Some reaction-focused Razor teams use completely different builds with Elemental Mastery, so artifact stats should match the team rather than mixing Physical and reaction-focused builds.
5. Playstyle
Use Razor’s Elemental Skill to deal Electro damage and build Electro Sigils, which help with his Energy generation. Activate his Elemental Burst when the team’s support abilities are ready, then remain on-field and focus on Normal Attacks.
Switching characters ends Razor’s Burst, so set up shields, Cryo application, and other off-field abilities before starting his main damage window.
6. F2P
Razor is easy to build with accessible weapons such as Prototype Archaic, and Physical teams can be created using several readily available Cryo and Electro characters.
F2P players should prioritize a balanced CRIT ratio, ATK, and Physical DMG for his standard build. Premium weapons are not necessary for Razor to function as an on-field Physical damage dealer.
*StoryBillion Tip: Razor’s Electro Vision does not mean you need to build him around Electro damage. In his traditional build, Electro is especially useful for triggering Superconduct with Cryo, while most of Razor’s on-field damage comes from his Physical Normal Attacks.
