Kamisato Ayaka

4-Piece Blizzard Strayer — A strong general option for Ayaka because it provides substantial CRIT Rate against enemies affected by Cryo or Frozen.
Alternative: 4-Piece Marechaussee Hunter is especially strong when Ayaka is paired with Furina, providing reliable CRIT Rate without depending on enemies being Frozen.

Premium: Mistsplitter Reforged
Alternatives: Azurelight, Absolution, Primordial Jade Cutter
F2P: Finale of the Deep / Amenoma Kageuchi

Mistsplitter Reforged remains Ayaka’s signature and strongest general weapon, providing CRIT DMG and Elemental DMG bonuses that work extremely well with her Cryo damage. Finale of the Deep is her strongest craftable damage option, while Amenoma Kageuchi can make her Energy requirements easier to manage.

Freeze: Ayaka + Escoffier + Furina + Shenhe
Classic Freeze: Ayaka + Shenhe + Kokomi + Kazuha
Accessible Freeze: Ayaka + Xingqiu + Rosaria + Sucrose

Ayaka’s Freeze teams use Hydro application to keep enemies in place so her Elemental Burst can land as many hits as possible. Cryo teammates also provide particles to help manage her Burst’s Energy requirements.

Sands: ATK%
Goblet: Cryo DMG Bonus / ATK%
Circlet: CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG
Priority: Energy Recharge until needed → CRIT → ATK%

Ayaka typically needs around 130–150% Energy Recharge in Double Cryo teams, although the exact requirement changes with Favonius weapons and particle generation. An ATK% Goblet can also become competitive when she already receives large amounts of DMG Bonus from teammates such as Furina.

Use Ayaka’s Alternate Sprint to gain Cryo infusion, set up her teammates’ buffs and Hydro application, then use her Skill and Elemental Burst during the main damage window. Her Burst deals the majority of her damage, so positioning enemies correctly before casting it is especially important.

After using her Burst, Ayaka can continue attacking with Cryo-infused Normal and Charged Attacks while waiting for the next rotation. Prioritize leveling her Burst first, followed by Normal Attack for on-field builds.

Ayaka has strong craftable weapons, so Mistsplitter Reforged is not required. Finale of the Deep provides excellent damage when its Bond of Life can be cleared by a healer, while Amenoma Kageuchi trades some damage for easier Energy management.

F2P players should prioritize reliable Burst uptime and a balanced ATK and CRIT build rather than focusing only on CRIT DMG. Freeze teams can also reduce the amount of CRIT Rate Ayaka needs from her artifacts.
