Varka

4-Piece A Day Carved From Rising Winds — A strong option designed around Varka’s on-field damage, providing ATK and additional benefits after completing Witch’s Homework.
Alternative: 2-Piece ATK% + 2-Piece ATK% or Anemo DMG Bonus provides a straightforward transitional build while farming his preferred set.

Premium: Gest of the Mighty Wolf
Alternatives: Beacon of the Reed Sea, A Thousand Blazing Suns, Serpent Spine
F2P: Tidal Shadow

Gest of the Mighty Wolf is Varka’s signature option and provides CRIT Rate alongside effects suited to his damage profile. Tidal Shadow is a practical craftable alternative when Varka is paired with a healer.

Pyro: Varka + Venti + Durin + Bennett
Hydro: Varka + Jean + Furina + Mona
Electro: Varka + Venti + Ineffa + Fischl

Varka strongly prefers a team containing another Anemo character plus two characters sharing the same Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo element. His dual-element playstyle allows one of his weapons to deal Anemo damage while the other incorporates the matching teammate element.

Sands: ATK%
Goblet: ATK% / Elemental DMG Bonus
Circlet: CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG
Priority: CRIT → ATK% → Elemental Mastery / Energy Recharge

Varka primarily wants CRIT and ATK for his personal damage. ATK% Goblets can be particularly effective because his damage is split between Anemo and the additional element provided by his team rather than being entirely Anemo damage.

Use Varka’s Elemental Skill to enter his enhanced combat state, then keep him on-field and use his special attacks to deal a mixture of Anemo and infused elemental damage. Set up his teammates’ buffs and off-field abilities before switching to Varka.

Most of his important damage scales through his Elemental Skill, making it his primary talent priority. His Burst contributes AoE Anemo and Swirl damage but is generally much less important than maximizing his Skill-based attacks.

Varka can be built without his signature weapon. Tidal Shadow is a craftable ATK option that works particularly well when his team includes consistent healing.

F2P players should focus first on a team that satisfies Varka’s elemental requirements, then prioritize CRIT and ATK on his artifacts. His team structure is especially important because failing to activate the conditions of his passive can significantly reduce his damage.
