Best For: Players who want a close-range Anemo Catalyst character who can trigger frequent Swirls while dealing strong Elemental Skill damage.

Alternative: 2-Piece Anemo DMG + 2-Piece ATK% can be used for a personal-damage build when another teammate already uses Viridescent Venerer.

F2P: Mappa Mare
Skyward Atlas is a strong option for Heizou’s ATK/Anemo/CRIT build, while The Widsith provides useful CRIT DMG and powerful temporary buffs. Mappa Mare is a flexible craftable choice that works with both personal-damage and reaction-focused builds.

Electro-Charged: Shikanoin Heizou + Xingqiu + Fischl + Beidou
Hyperbloom: Shikanoin Heizou + Yelan + Kuki Shinobu + Nahida
Anemo DPS: Shikanoin Heizou + Faruzan + Xiangling + Bennett
Heizou can remain on-field to trigger Swirl while driving off-field teammates, or function as a quickswap Anemo DPS alongside Faruzan. His flexibility allows him to use either an EM-focused reaction build or a conventional offensive build.

Sands: ATK% / Elemental Mastery
Goblet: Anemo DMG Bonus / Elemental Mastery
Circlet: CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG / Elemental Mastery
Priority: Energy Recharge until needed → CRIT / ATK% for DPS or Elemental Mastery for Driver
For personal damage, use ATK% / Anemo DMG / CRIT. For an Electro-Charged or reaction-focused on-field driver, EM / EM / EM is generally preferred to maximize Swirl and transformative reaction damage.
5. Playstyle
Trigger Swirl with Heizou to gain Declension stacks, then use his Elemental Skill, Heartstopper Strike, at maximum stacks for significantly increased Anemo damage. His Burst provides additional quick damage and some enemy grouping.
As an on-field driver, use his fast Normal and Charged Attacks to continuously trigger Swirl while activating teammates’ off-field abilities. For a personal-damage build, prioritize Skill → Normal Attack / Burst.
6. F2P
Heizou performs well without a 5-star Catalyst. Mappa Mare is permanently craftable and works across several of his playstyles, while Magic Guide is an inexpensive option for a full Elemental Mastery reaction build.
F2P players should choose their artifact stats based on Heizou’s role rather than mixing the two builds unnecessarily: EM for reaction driving, or ATK/Anemo/CRIT for stronger personal Anemo damage.
*StoryBillion Tip: You do not need to hold Heizou’s Skill and wait for Declension stacks. Triggering Swirl while Heizou is on-field generates Declension through his passive, allowing you to build four stacks during combat and then quickly unleash a fully powered Heartstopper Strike.
