Role: Hydro Support / Burst Support
Best For: Teams that want a short but powerful damage window, Hydro application, and additional buffs for a main damage dealer.
1. Recommended Artifacts
4-Piece Noblesse Oblige — A reliable support set for Mona. She normally wants to use her Elemental Burst every rotation, allowing her to activate the set’s team-wide ATK buff while also applying her own Omen damage bonus.
Alternative: 4-Piece Emblem of Severed Fate — A good choice when you want more personal Burst damage while helping Mona meet her Energy Recharge requirements. If another teammate already uses Noblesse Oblige, Emblem becomes an especially practical alternative.

Premium: A Thousand Floating Dreams
Alternatives: The Widsith, Favonius Codex
F2P: Prototype Amber
Favonius Codex is particularly useful when Mona needs significant Energy Recharge, while Prototype Amber is craftable and restores both Energy and some team HP after her Burst. The Widsith is better suited to builds that place more emphasis on Mona’s own damage.

Freeze: Ganyu + Mona + Venti + Diona
Vaporize: Mona + Xiangling + Bennett + Kazuha
Hypercarry Support: Raiden Shogun + Mona + Bennett + Kazuha
Mona works particularly well with characters that can deal a large amount of damage during her Omen window. Freeze teams can also take advantage of a special interaction that can extend the effective duration of Omen against Frozen enemies.
4. Main Stats / Substats
Sands: Energy Recharge or ATK%
Goblet: Hydro DMG Bonus or ATK%
Circlet: CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG
Substats: Energy Recharge until requirement > CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG > ATK%
Energy Recharge should generally come first for support Mona because her Burst provides most of her team contribution. Once she can reliably Burst every rotation, additional offensive stats can be used to improve her personal damage.
5. Playstyle
Use Mona’s Elemental Skill to provide Hydro application and distract enemies, then activate her Elemental Burst to apply Omen. Omen increases the damage enemies receive, creating a powerful window for your main damage dealer.
Mona generally does not need much field time in a support build. After applying her Skill and Burst, switch to the character that can make the best use of Omen and deal as much damage as possible before the buff expires.
6. F2P
Mona works well without a premium Catalyst. Prototype Amber is craftable and helps reduce her Energy requirements while providing some additional healing, making it especially useful when team comfort is more important than Mona’s personal damage.
Her main support value comes from her Burst rather than expensive equipment. Prioritize reliable Burst uptime first, then improve her offensive stats once the rotation already feels consistent.
StoryBillion Tip: Mona’s Omen does not last forever, so don’t activate her Burst too early. Set up your other supports first, use Mona near the end of the setup, and then switch quickly to the character that will take advantage of her damage buff.
