Once you have completed enough activities to trigger the relevant confrontation, you can progress to that boss without clearing every remaining activity associated with them.
That means Court Activities are not a checklist you must finish at 100% before moving forward.
Do Unfinished Court Activities Disappear After the Boss Dies?
No. Defeating the associated Court boss does not automatically remove all of their unfinished activities.
This is especially useful if you focused on raising Anger as quickly as possible and reached the boss while several activities were still incomplete.
For example, current Bakir activity documentation specifically confirms that his remaining activities stay available after he is killed, allowing you to return for XP and Skill Points later.

What Happens to the Boss’s Anger After You Defeat Them?
Anger no longer matters for unlocking a confrontation with a boss you have already defeated.
The purpose of raising Anger is to provoke Ambrus, Bakir, or Xanthe until their boss quest becomes available.
Once that confrontation has already been resolved, continuing to complete leftover activities is no longer necessary for that purpose.
You can therefore think of the remaining activities as optional content rather than requirements for reaching the boss.
Do You Still Get Rewards From Activities After Killing the Boss?
Yes. Remaining Court Activities can still be worth completing for their individual rewards.
Depending on the activity, rewards can include:
- XP
- Skill Points
- Denarius
- Equipment
- Consumables
- Crafting items
- Manuals or recipes
- Additional encounters or story content
For example, Bakir’s activities include several Skill Points, XP rewards, equipment, and other items independently of the eventual Bakir confrontation.
So defeating the boss does not necessarily mean everything associated with that Court member has stopped being useful.
Do Leftover Court Activities Still Consume Time?
Yes. Court Activities can still cost Time Segments, so completing them after the boss is dead is not necessarily free.
Court Activities advance the in-game clock, and the main campaign gives Coen 30 days to rescue his family from Brencis.
That creates an important decision after defeating a boss.
A leftover activity may still offer a useful Skill Point or item, but completing it can also consume time you could spend progressing against another Court member.
If you are approaching the deadline, you should consider the reward before automatically clearing every remaining marker.

Should You Finish the Activities Before Killing the Boss?

If your priority is progressing through the main story efficiently, there is little reason to complete every activity once you have already raised the boss’s Anger enough to unlock their confrontation.
If your priority is exploration or character progression, however, some activities may still be worth doing for their individual rewards.

- Complete enough activities to unlock the boss.
- Check whether any remaining activities offer rewards you want.
- Defeat the boss when you are ready.
- Return to worthwhile leftover activities later if necessary.
This avoids spending Time Segments simply because you assumed every Court Activity was mandatory.
Is It Better to Complete 100% of a Boss’s Activities?
Not necessarily. Completing every Court Activity is not required for normal main-story progression.
The game contains 41 Court Activities across Ambrus, Bakir, and Xanthe, but the purpose of the system is to raise their Anger sufficiently to unlock their confrontations.
If you are trying to rescue Coen’s family efficiently, completing every activity before moving to the next boss can spend more Time Segments than necessary.
On the other hand, players interested in additional rewards and content may still want to return to them.

Does Killing a Court Boss Early Break the Main Story?
No. Defeating a Court boss before completing every activity associated with them does not by itself break the main-story progression.
The main objective is ultimately to deal with Brencis’ three major vassals — Ambrus, Bakir, and Xanthe — before progressing toward Brencis.
