Best For: Players who want strong teamwide healing, Viridescent Venerer support, and flexible Anemo utility with very little field time.
1. Recommended Artifacts
4-Piece Viridescent Venerer — A strong general option when Jean supports Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo damage dealers, reducing enemy resistance to the element she Swirls.
Alternative: 4-Piece Noblesse Oblige can provide a teamwide ATK buff when Viridescent Venerer is unnecessary or already being used. Ocean-Hued Clam is another option for converting Jean’s large teamwide healing into additional damage.

Alternatives: Skyward Blade, Favonius Sword
F2P: Amenoma Kageuchi
Favonius Sword is especially useful for solving Jean’s Energy requirements while also generating Energy for the rest of the team. Amenoma Kageuchi is a practical craftable alternative that provides ATK for both her healing and personal damage while refunding Energy through its passive.

Furina Support: Neuvillette + Furina + Jean + Fischl
Sunfire: Jean + Bennett + Raiden Shogun + Xingqiu
Anemo Support: Xiao + Jean + Zhongli + Bennett
Jean is particularly useful alongside Furina because her Burst immediately heals the entire party, helping generate Fanfare quickly. Pairing Jean’s Burst with Bennett’s Burst also creates the well-known Sunfire interaction, repeatedly Swirling Pyro from the active character.

Goblet: Anemo DMG Bonus
Circlet: CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG
Priority: Energy Recharge → CRIT → ATK%
Jean’s healing scales with ATK, but she can still deal respectable personal damage, making a standard offensive build practical once her Energy requirements are covered. For a dedicated Sunfire build, use EM or ER Sands / EM Goblet / EM Circlet instead.
5. Playstyle
Use Jean’s Elemental Skill to generate Anemo particles and deal quick damage, then activate her Burst when the team needs healing or Anemo support. Her Burst immediately provides a large teamwide heal and creates a Dandelion Field that continues healing the active character.
Jean’s Skill can also pull and launch lighter enemies, while her Burst cleanses elements from the active character through repeated Anemo application. Prioritize Burst ≥ Skill for a standard support build.
6. F2P
Jean performs her core support role without a 5-star weapon. Amenoma Kageuchi is craftable and provides both ATK and Energy restoration, while Favonius Sword is excellent if available.
F2P players should prioritize enough Energy Recharge for consistent Burst usage, then improve ATK and offensive stats. Her strong teamwide healing, cleansing, and Anemo utility all come directly from her kit.
*StoryBillion Tip: Jean’s Burst has an 80 Energy cost, but her Ascension passive refunds 20% of its Energy after use. This makes her effective Burst cost lower than it initially appears, so avoid stacking excessive Energy Recharge once she can Burst reliably every rotation.
