4-Piece Gilded Dreams — A strong general option for Alhaitham when another teammate is using Deepwood Memories, providing valuable Elemental Mastery and ATK for his personal damage.
Alternative: 4-Piece Deepwood Memories can be used when nobody else on the team can carry it. Marechaussee Hunter is also a strong option in Furina teams where Alhaitham can reliably gain its CRIT Rate stacks.

Alternatives: Primordial Jade Cutter, Mistsplitter Reforged, Wolf-Fang
F2P: Iron Sting
Light of Foliar Incision works especially well with Alhaitham because it provides CRIT DMG while converting his Elemental Mastery into additional damage for his Normal Attacks and Projection Attacks. Iron Sting is a practical craftable alternative thanks to its Elemental Mastery stat and useful passive.

Alhaitham works particularly well with off-field teammates because he wants to remain active while maintaining his Chisel-Light Mirrors. Electro enables Spread for stronger personal damage, while adding Hydro allows him to serve as the on-field Dendro enabler for Quickbloom and Hyperbloom teams.

Alhaitham benefits heavily from Elemental Mastery because both his abilities and Spread damage make good use of it. In Quicken teams, reaching roughly 200–300 EM including buffs before focusing heavily on CRIT is a useful guideline.
5. Playstyle
Alhaitham’s gameplay revolves around maintaining Chisel-Light Mirrors. These Mirrors convert his attacks to Dendro and trigger Projection Attacks, which make up a significant portion of his personal damage.
Set up your teammates’ off-field abilities first, then switch to Alhaitham and generate Mirrors through his Burst, Skill, or Charged/Plunging Attack. Maintaining three Mirrors for as much of his main damage window as possible allows him to trigger his strongest Projection Attacks consistently.
6. F2P
Alhaitham performs well without his signature weapon. Iron Sting is craftable and provides Elemental Mastery, making it a reliable F2P choice for his reaction-focused teams.
He also has strong accessible teammates. Kuki Shinobu and Xingqiu can form the core of a Hyperbloom team, while other Dendro characters can provide Dendro Resonance, Energy, or Deepwood Memories support.
F2P players should prioritize Elemental Mastery, balanced CRIT stats, and learning how to maintain Alhaitham’s Mirrors rather than treating Light of Foliar Incision as necessary for strong performance.
