Yoimiya

4-Piece Shimenawa’s Reminiscence — Recommended for Yoimiya because it strongly increases her Normal Attack damage during her Elemental Skill, which is the main source of her damage.
Alternative: 4-Piece Crimson Witch of Flames can work well in reaction-focused teams, particularly when Yoimiya consistently triggers Vaporize or Overloaded.

Premium: Thundering Pulse
Alternatives: Aqua Simulacra, Rust, Slingshot
F2P: Slingshot

Thundering Pulse is Yoimiya’s signature weapon and fits her Normal Attack-focused playstyle particularly well. Rust is a strong 4-star alternative because its passive directly increases Normal Attack damage, while Slingshot can remain surprisingly effective despite being a 3-star weapon when its passive is used consistently.

Vaporize: Yoimiya + Yelan + Bennett + Zhongli
Overloaded: Yoimiya + Fischl + Chevreuse + Bennett
Vaporize Support: Yoimiya + Furina + Yelan + Xilonen

Yoimiya works especially well with off-field teammates because she wants to remain on-field throughout Niwabi Fire-Dance. Hydro characters can enable Vaporize, while Electro and Pyro teammates can support an Overloaded-focused setup.

Defensive support is also particularly useful for Yoimiya. Her later Normal Attacks are important parts of her attack sequence, so being interrupted before finishing a combo can reduce her damage.

Sands: ATK% / Elemental Mastery
Goblet: Pyro DMG Bonus
Circlet: CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG
Priority: CRIT → ATK% → Elemental Mastery

ATK% is the straightforward general-purpose Sands choice, while Elemental Mastery becomes more valuable in teams where Yoimiya consistently triggers Vaporize.

After meeting the basic offensive stat requirements, focus on balancing CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG rather than investing heavily into Energy Recharge, since Yoimiya’s Elemental Burst is not the main source of her personal damage.

Activate Yoimiya’s Niwabi Fire-Dance and focus on completing her Normal Attack sequence. During the Skill, her Normal Attacks are converted into Pyro damage and receive an additional damage increase. Switching Yoimiya off-field ends the effect, so set up your supports before activating her Skill.

Her Charged Attack has unique homing Kindling Arrows, but it is generally not the focus of her combat rotation. Most of Yoimiya’s damage instead comes from repeatedly using her Pyro-infused Normal Attacks.

Try to avoid interrupting her Normal Attack sequence unnecessarily. Positioning, shields, and interruption resistance can make Yoimiya much more comfortable because they allow her to continue attacking throughout her main damage window.

Yoimiya does not require Thundering Pulse to function effectively. Slingshot is an easily accessible option that can perform well when its passive conditions are maintained, making it particularly useful for players without stronger 4-star or 5-star Bows.

F2P players should prioritize improving Yoimiya’s Normal Attack talent, building balanced CRIT and ATK stats, and giving her teammates who can provide reliable off-field reactions, buffs, or defensive support.
