Citlali

4-Piece Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City — Recommended for Citlali because she can fully activate the set as a Natlan character, providing a large Elemental DMG Bonus to teammates after triggering the appropriate reaction.
Alternative: 4-Piece Tenacity of the Millelith can provide additional team ATK support, while mixed Elemental Mastery sets are usable when farming a complete Scroll set.

Scroll is generally the simplest choice because Citlali can combine her own Pyro/Hydro RES reduction with the artifact set’s Elemental DMG Bonus, giving the team multiple offensive buffs from a single support slot.

Premium: Starcaller’s Watch
Alternatives: Sacrificial Fragments, Wandering Evenstar, Favonius Codex
F2P: Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers

Starcaller’s Watch is Citlali’s signature weapon and provides a large amount of Elemental Mastery, strengthening her shield while also giving additional support to the active character after she creates a shield.

Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers is an excellent accessible option for ATK-scaling carries because its passive provides a large ATK buff to the next character switched onto the field. Favonius Codex is useful instead when Citlali or the team needs additional Energy.

Mavuika Melt: Mavuika + Citlali + Xilonen + Bennett
Arlecchino Melt: Arlecchino + Citlali + Xilonen + Bennett
Skirk Freeze: Skirk + Citlali + Furina + Escoffier

Citlali is particularly valuable for Pyro carries because triggering Melt activates her 20% Pyro RES reduction, while Freeze activates the equivalent Hydro RES reduction. Her shield also gives the on-field character additional protection during their damage window.

She can also support Cryo-focused teams such as Skirk compositions through Scroll and other support tools, although Citlali’s own passive does not reduce Cryo RES.

Sands: Elemental Mastery / Energy Recharge
Goblet: Elemental Mastery
Circlet: Elemental Mastery / CRIT Rate with Favonius Codex
Priority: Energy Recharge until needed → Elemental Mastery → CRIT Rate with Favonius

Elemental Mastery is Citlali’s main stat because her shield strength and several parts of her kit scale with it. Full EM main stats are therefore common once she has enough Energy Recharge for the desired rotation.

Her Energy requirements can vary considerably between teams. If her Burst is needed every rotation, an Energy Recharge Sands can be more valuable than forcing additional Elemental Mastery.

Use Citlali’s Elemental Skill to create her Opal Shield and enter Nightsoul’s Blessing, then trigger the appropriate elemental reaction to activate both her support passive and Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City.

After setting up Citlali’s abilities, switch to the team’s main damage dealer so they can take advantage of her shield, resistance reduction, and artifact buffs.

Citlali requires relatively little field time, making her easy to place near the beginning of a rotation before switching to characters such as Mavuika or Arlecchino.

Citlali is very F2P-friendly because Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers is a 3-star Catalyst that can provide an extremely useful ATK buff to the next character entering the field.

Sacrificial Fragments is another useful option if available, providing a large amount of Elemental Mastery. Favonius Codex can instead help solve Energy requirements for both Citlali and the rest of the team.

F2P players should prioritize enough Energy Recharge for consistent rotations and then build Elemental Mastery. Citlali’s Pyro/Hydro RES reduction and Scroll buffs come from her kit and artifact set, so her signature weapon is not necessary for strong support performance.
