Nefer

4-Piece Night of the Sky’s Unveiling — Recommended for Nefer because it provides Elemental Mastery, CRIT Rate, and Lunar-Bloom DMG Bonus when its Moonsign condition is fully activated.

Alternative: 4-Piece Gilded Dreams is a usable transitional option while farming Night of the Sky’s Unveiling. Two 2-Piece Elemental Mastery sets can also work temporarily when they have significantly better substats.

Night of the Sky’s Unveiling is considerably stronger than Nefer’s alternatives in a proper Lunar-Bloom team. A second Nod-Krai character, ideally Lauma, is especially valuable because Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam activates the artifact set’s full effect as well as important parts of Nefer’s own kit.

Premium: Reliquary of Truth
Alternatives: Nightweaver’s Looking Glass, A Thousand Floating Dreams, The Widsith
F2P: Blackmarrow Lantern

Reliquary of Truth is Nefer’s signature weapon and provides a powerful combination of CRIT and Elemental Mastery while further strengthening her Lunar-Bloom damage. These are exactly the offensive stats Nefer wants for her main damage window.

Blackmarrow Lantern is the recommended craftable F2P option because it provides Elemental Mastery and a passive specifically useful for Lunar-Bloom damage. This gives Nefer a practical alternative without requiring a limited 5-star Catalyst.

Premium Lunar-Bloom: Nefer + Lauma + Columbina + Sucrose
Lunar-Bloom: Nefer + Lauma + Columbina + Nahida
Lunar-Bloom Sustain: Nefer + Lauma + Columbina + Kuki Shinobu

Nefer strongly prefers Lunar-Bloom teams. A Hydro character is required to create the Bloom-related resources she needs, while a second Dendro character helps generate Verdant Dew before Nefer begins her field time.

Lauma is particularly important because she provides excellent Lunar-Bloom support while also activating Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam. Nefer’s performance drops noticeably without the right Lunar-Bloom support structure, making team composition more important for her than for many conventional DPS characters.

Sands: Elemental Mastery
Goblet: Elemental Mastery
Circlet: CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG / Elemental Mastery
Priority: CRIT → Elemental Mastery → Energy Recharge if needed

Nefer’s damage relies heavily on Elemental Mastery, making EM Sands and EM Goblet the standard choices. Her Lunar-Bloom damage can also CRIT under the appropriate conditions, so maintaining strong CRIT stats remains extremely important.

Her Energy requirements are relatively low because her Burst does not need to be used every rotation. Avoid sacrificing strong CRIT and EM substats simply to stack unnecessary Energy Recharge.

Set up Hydro application, Dendro support, and team buffs before switching to Nefer. Then use her Elemental Skill to enter Shadow Dance, where her Charged Attack becomes a special attack that consumes Verdant Dew and deals Dendro and Lunar-Bloom damage.

Nefer should remain on-field throughout her main Shadow Dance sequence because switching characters ends the state. Her special Charged Attacks also include frequent movement and dashing, giving her unusual mobility during her damage window.

Her Elemental Burst can help fill downtime while additional Verdant Dew is being generated, but it is not the centerpiece of her rotation. Her Skill and Shadow Dance Charged Attacks are the main focus of her gameplay.

Nefer can be built without Reliquary of Truth. Blackmarrow Lantern is a craftable Catalyst designed around the stats and Lunar-Bloom damage she wants, making it the most straightforward permanent F2P option.

Her bigger F2P consideration is team composition rather than her weapon. Nefer strongly benefits from another Nod-Krai character to activate Ascendant Gleam, and Hydro application is mandatory for her intended Lunar-Bloom gameplay.

F2P players should therefore prioritize building the correct Lunar-Bloom team around Nefer, obtaining 4-Piece Night of the Sky’s Unveiling, and stacking EM and CRIT before worrying about her signature weapon.
