Best For: Players who use Normal Attack-focused damage dealers and want a Geo support that can significantly increase their Normal Attack damage.
1. Recommended Artifacts
4-Piece Husk of Opulent Dreams — Recommended for Yun Jin because the additional DEF directly increases the Normal Attack damage bonus provided by her Elemental Burst.
Alternative: 2-Piece Husk of Opulent Dreams + 2-Piece Emblem of Severed Fate can be used when additional Energy Recharge is needed.

Premium: Engulfing Lightning
Alternatives: Prototype Starglitter, Kitain Cross Spear
F2P: Favonius Lance
Favonius Lance is one of Yun Jin’s most practical weapons because it provides Energy Recharge and generates additional particles for the team. Her support buff does not depend on weapon Base ATK, so maintaining reliable Burst uptime is more important than using a high-ATK weapon.
3. Recommended Teams
Normal Attack Carry: Yoimiya + Yun Jin + Yelan + Zhongli
Hydro Carry: Ayato + Yun Jin + Furina + Xilonen
Physical: Zhongli + Yun Jin + Fischl + Mika
Yun Jin works particularly well with characters whose damage comes from frequent Normal Attacks. Her Burst adds additional damage to Normal Attack hits based on her DEF, allowing fast-attacking characters to make excellent use of her buff.

Sands: Energy Recharge / DEF%
Goblet: DEF%
Circlet: DEF% / CRIT Rate with Favonius
Priority: Energy Recharge until needed → DEF% → CRIT Rate with Favonius
Yun Jin should first have enough Energy Recharge to use her Burst consistently, then stack DEF to strengthen her Normal Attack buff. CRIT stats are generally unnecessary outside of the CRIT Rate required to trigger Favonius Lance.
5. Playstyle
Use Yun Jin’s Elemental Skill to generate Geo particles, then activate her Elemental Burst before switching to your Normal Attack damage dealer.
Her Burst grants Flying Cloud Flag Formation, adding damage to Normal Attacks based on Yun Jin’s DEF. Because this buff is the main reason to use her, prioritize Burst → Skill and leave her Normal Attack unleveled for a standard support build.
6. F2P
Yun Jin is highly F2P-friendly because her core support value comes from DEF, Burst talent levels, and reliable Burst uptime rather than premium weapons.
Favonius Lance is excellent if available, while Prototype Starglitter is a permanently craftable Energy Recharge alternative. F2P players should prioritize Energy Recharge and DEF rather than investing heavily into Yun Jin’s personal damage.
*StoryBillion Tip: Yun Jin’s Normal Attack buff scales with her DEF, not her ATK. Once you have enough Energy Recharge to use her Burst consistently, stacking DEF is the simplest way to strengthen the buff she provides to your main damage dealer.
