4-Piece Desert Pavilion Chronicle — A strong general option for Wanderer, increasing Anemo DMG while providing Attack SPD and additional Normal and Charged Attack damage after using a Charged Attack.
Alternative: 4-Piece Marechaussee Hunter is particularly strong when playing Wanderer with Furina, while 4-Piece Shimenawa’s Reminiscence remains another viable option.

Triple Anemo: Wanderer + Faruzan + Bennett + Venti
Faruzan is one of Wanderer’s most important teammates because she provides Anemo DMG Bonus and Anemo RES reduction. Bennett provides healing and a large ATK buff, while the final slot can provide additional damage, buffs, grouping, or interruption resistance.

Priority: CRIT → ATK% → Energy Recharge as needed
Wanderer uses a straightforward offensive build focused primarily on CRIT and ATK. At C0–C1, he generally does not need to build Energy Recharge specifically because using his Burst every rotation is unnecessary.
5. Playstyle
Set up Wanderer’s teammates first, then use his Elemental Skill to enter the Windfavored state. While airborne, focus on Normal and Charged Attacks until his Kuugoryoku Points are depleted.
Casting his Skill while contacting Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro can also grant different bonuses through his Ascension passive. His Normal Attacks make up a large portion of his damage, so prioritize Normal Attack → Skill → Burst at C0–C1.
6. F2P
Wanderer can perform well without his signature Catalyst. Flowing Purity is craftable and provides useful ATK and Elemental DMG bonuses for his standard DPS build.
F2P players should prioritize strong CRIT and ATK artifact stats and invest in supportive teammates such as Faruzan and Bennett. A defensive teammate can also be valuable because being interrupted while airborne can significantly disrupt Wanderer’s damage window.
*StoryBillion Tip: Wanderer’s Skill can absorb nearby Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro to provide different bonuses. Pyro grants ATK, Cryo grants CRIT Rate, Hydro extends his airborne resource, and Electro helps restore Energy. Paying attention to which elements are present when activating his Skill can therefore improve both his damage and rotation.
