Mora is one of the most commonly used resources in Genshin Impact.
At first, you may feel like you have more Mora than you could ever spend. But once you begin leveling multiple characters, weapons, Talents, and Artifacts, millions of Mora can disappear surprisingly quickly.
When that happens, the fastest solution is usually obvious:
Blossom of Wealth Ley Lines.
But spending Original Resin just to obtain Mora can feel wasteful.
So, should you actually farm Mora Ley Lines?
The short answer is:
Yes. If Mora is preventing an important upgrade, farming a Mora Ley Line is completely worth it. However, if you are not currently short on Mora, there is usually no reason to farm large amounts of it in advance.
Mora Ley Lines are best used when Mora becomes a real progression bottleneck.

Mora Ley Lines are officially called Ley Line Outcrops: Blossom of Wealth.
They appear on the map as yellow Ley Line icons.
After defeating the enemies that spawn from the Ley Line, you can spend Original Resin to claim Mora.
Unlike many one-time sources of Mora, Ley Lines can be farmed repeatedly.
That makes them one of the most straightforward ways to obtain a large amount of Mora when you need it.
2. How Much Mora Do You Get?
The amount of Mora obtained from a Blossom of Wealth increases as your World Level rises.
At the highest reward tier, a normal claim provides:
60,000 Mora for 20 Original Resin.
This means:
20 Resin → 60,000 Mora
40 Resin → 120,000 Mora
60 Resin → 180,000 Mora
100 Resin → 300,000 Mora
Because the reward is guaranteed, Mora Ley Lines are very different from Artifact Domains.
There is no need to hope for the correct main stat or good substats.
You spend Resin and receive the resource you came for.
3. Is Spending Resin on Mora a Waste?
No.
This is one of the biggest misconceptions surrounding Mora Ley Lines.
Players often think:
“I should never waste Resin on something I can obtain naturally.”
But Resin is supposed to be used to remove progression bottlenecks.

- Enough Talent books
- Enough EXP materials

Ley Line rewards improve as your World Level increases until reaching their maximum reward tier.
That means Resin spent on Mora later in progression generally produces more Mora than Resin spent very early.

9. Should You Farm Mora Before Building a New Character?

This decision depends entirely on what your account needs.
Suppose your main character already has decent Artifacts but you cannot afford to level an important Talent.
Another Artifact Domain run gives you only a chance at an improvement.
A Mora Ley Line gives you guaranteed progress toward the Talent upgrade.
In that situation:
Mora may be the better Resin investment.
But suppose you already have plenty of Mora and your Artifacts are weak.
Then the Artifact Domain becomes the obvious priority.
There is no universally superior option.
11. Mora Ley Lines vs Talent Domains
Use the same logic.
Imagine a Talent upgrade requires:
Talent books + Mora.
If you have enough Talent books but no Mora:
→ Farm Mora.
If you have plenty of Mora but insufficient books:

You need both EXP materials and Mora to level characters.
Check your inventory before farming either one.
If you already have hundreds of EXP books but very little Mora, farming more EXP books accomplishes nothing.
Likewise, millions of Mora cannot level a character without EXP materials.
Balance the two resources according to your actual requirements.
13. Should You Spend an Entire Day of Resin on Mora?
Sometimes, yes.
If you are completely broke and have several upgrades waiting, dedicating one day’s Resin to Mora can solve the problem quickly.
For example, six 20-Resin claims at the maximum reward tier provide:
360,000 Mora for 120 Resin.
Eight claims provide:
480,000 Mora for 160 Resin.
That can immediately unlock several upgrades.
There is nothing inherently inefficient about doing this when Mora is what your account needs.
14. Should You Farm Millions of Mora at Once?
Usually, you do not need to.
There is a difference between:
building a useful reserve
and
farming resources without a plan.
If you know several expensive upgrades are coming, accumulating Mora beforehand is reasonable.
But farming millions simply because Mora will eventually be useful can lock Resin into a resource you may not need for weeks.
A better approach is to maintain enough Mora for your near-term plans.
15. Can You Get Mora Without Spending Resin?
Absolutely.
Mora comes from many parts of the game, including:
- Quests
- Events
- Exploration
- Chests
- Expeditions
- Various regional reward systems

- Serenitea Pot rewards
- Other activities and exchanges
This passive income is important.
In fact, players discussing Resin-free Mora farming often point out that Mora gradually comes from many different activities, which is why established accounts may go long periods without farming a Blossom of Wealth.
But these methods have an important limitation:
Most cannot instantly provide large, repeatable amounts whenever you need them.
That is the role of the Mora Ley Line.
16. Should You Avoid Ley Lines and Wait for Events?
Usually not if Mora is blocking something important.
Events frequently provide Mora, and collecting those rewards is obviously useful.
But waiting several days for event rewards just to avoid spending Resin may delay an upgrade unnecessarily.

Do I need this upgrade now?
If yes, farm the Mora.
If not, allowing events and normal gameplay to replenish your reserves naturally can save Resin.

If you repeatedly run out of Mora, the problem may not only be farming.
Look at what you are spending it on.

If Mora is preventing you from upgrading an important character, Talent, weapon, or Artifact, farming a Blossom of Wealth directly solves that problem.
But if you already have enough Mora for your current plans, there is little reason to accumulate huge amounts just because you might need it someday.

Do not judge Resin efficiency only by asking which activity provides the rarest reward.
Ask:
“What resource will improve my account right now?”
Sometimes that answer is an Artifact.
Sometimes it is a Talent material.

If Mora is the only thing standing between you and an important guaranteed upgrade, farm the Mora Ley Line without worrying that you are wasting Resin.
