Role: On-Field Anemo Driver / Healer
Best For: Players who want an on-field reaction driver that combines Swirl and Electro-Charged damage with consistent team healing.
1. Recommended Artifacts
4-Piece Viridescent Venerer — Recommended for Ifa’s reaction-focused build because it increases Swirl damage and reduces enemy resistance to the element being Swirled.
Alternative: 4-Piece Obsidian Codex can be used for a more personal Anemo damage-focused build, while Night of the Sky’s Unveiling is an option in specific Nod-Krai teams.
2. Recommended Weapons
Premium: Sunny Morning Sleep-In
Alternatives: A Thousand Floating Dreams, Wandering Evenstar, Sacrificial Fragments
F2P: Mappa Mare
Sunny Morning Sleep-In provides a large amount of Elemental Mastery and works well with Ifa’s reaction-focused gameplay. Mappa Mare is a practical craftable alternative that also provides EM and an Elemental DMG Bonus after triggering reactions.
3. Recommended Teams
Electro-Charged: Ifa + Ororon + Xingqiu + Fischl
Lunar-Charged: Ifa + Ineffa + Yelan + Ororon
Electro-Charged: Ifa + Yelan + Fischl + Ororon
Ifa performs particularly well as an on-field driver with off-field Hydro and Electro teammates. His kit strengthens Swirl and Electro-Charged damage based on the party’s accumulated Nightsoul points, making Natlan teammates such as Ororon especially useful.
4. Main Stats / Substats
Sands: Elemental Mastery / Energy Recharge
Goblet: Elemental Mastery
Circlet: Elemental Mastery
Priority: Energy Recharge until needed → Elemental Mastery → CRIT Rate with Favonius
Ifa’s reaction build benefits heavily from Elemental Mastery because it increases his Swirl damage while also improving his healing. Level 90 is particularly valuable because transformative reactions such as Swirl scale strongly with character level.
5. Playstyle
Use Ifa’s Elemental Skill to enter Nightsoul’s Blessing, then remain on-field and attack with Cacucu to continuously trigger Swirl and other reactions while healing the active character.
His Burst deals Anemo damage, pulls nearby enemies together, and can help set up further reactions. Prioritize Skill → Burst → Normal Attack for a standard reaction-driver build.
6. F2P
Ifa works well without a 5-star Catalyst. Mappa Mare is permanently craftable and provides useful Elemental Mastery, while Sacrificial Fragments is another strong option if already available.
His teams can also use accessible off-field characters such as Xingqiu and Fischl. F2P players should prioritize Level 90, 4-Piece Viridescent Venerer, enough Energy Recharge, and high Elemental Mastery rather than expensive CRIT-focused equipment.
*StoryBillion Tip: Ifa’s healing scales with Elemental Mastery, so you do not need to sacrifice his reaction damage to make him a better healer. Building high EM simultaneously improves his Swirl damage and healing, making triple-EM artifacts especially efficient for his standard on-field driver build.
