Tighnari

4-Piece Wanderer’s Troupe — A strong general option for Tighnari, providing Elemental Mastery and a large Charged Attack DMG Bonus.
Alternative: 4-Piece Gilded Dreams provides valuable Elemental Mastery and ATK and performs similarly in many teams. If nobody else is using Deepwood Memories, Tighnari can use 4-Piece Deepwood Memories instead.

Premium: Hunter’s Path
Alternatives: Aqua Simulacra, Polar Star, The First Great Magic
F2P: Slingshot

Hunter’s Path is Tighnari’s signature weapon and works especially well with his Elemental Mastery scaling and Charged Attacks. Slingshot is an unusually strong F2P option despite being a 3-star weapon, particularly when fighting within the range required to maintain its passive.

Spread: Tighnari + Fischl + Yae Miko + Zhongli
Double Dendro: Tighnari + Fischl + Nahida + Zhongli
Quicken: Tighnari + Fischl + Kuki Shinobu + Kazuha

Tighnari performs particularly well in Quicken teams, where Electro application allows his Dendro attacks to repeatedly trigger Spread. His short field time also works naturally with teammates such as Fischl and Yae Miko that can contribute damage from off-field.

Sands: Elemental Mastery / ATK%
Goblet: Dendro DMG Bonus
Circlet: CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG
Priority: Energy Recharge until needed → CRIT → Elemental Mastery → ATK%

Both Elemental Mastery and ATK Sands can work depending on weapon and substats, although EM becomes especially valuable with Hunter’s Path. Level 90 is also strongly recommended because Spread damage benefits significantly from character level.

Use Tighnari’s Elemental Skill to create his field and dramatically reduce the charging time of his next three Wreath Arrows. This allows him to quickly fire three Charged Attacks before switching back to his teammates.

His Burst is also a useful source of quick Dendro damage and Spread triggers. A typical rotation involves using his Skill, firing a Wreath Arrow to activate his EM passive, using his Burst, and finishing the remaining fast Charged Attacks. Prioritize Normal Attack → Burst → Skill when leveling Talents.

Tighnari has an excellent inexpensive weapon option in Slingshot. Its high CRIT Rate and useful passive allow it to compete surprisingly well with many 4-star bows, making a premium weapon unnecessary for a functional build.

He can also build strong Quicken teams around accessible Electro characters such as Fischl and Kuki Shinobu. F2P players should prioritize Level 90, balanced CRIT and EM stats, and consistent Spread reactions before worrying about 5-star weapons.
