Role: On-Field Electro DPS / Aggravate Carry
Best For: Players who want a fast-paced Electro DPS with flexible rotations and strong synergy with Dendro-based Aggravate teams.
1. Recommended Artifacts
4-Piece Thundering Fury — A strong option for Keqing in Aggravate teams, increasing reaction damage while reducing her Elemental Skill cooldown when she triggers Electro reactions.
Alternative: 4-Piece Thundersoother can provide strong damage when enemies consistently remain affected by Electro.
2. Recommended Weapons
Premium: Mistsplitter Reforged
Alternatives: Primordial Jade Cutter, Haran Geppaku Futsu, Wolf-Fang
F2P: Lion’s Roar
Mistsplitter Reforged provides CRIT DMG and Elemental DMG bonuses that work well with Keqing’s Electro-infused attacks. Primordial Jade Cutter is another strong option thanks to its high CRIT Rate.
Lion’s Roar is an accessible 4-star option when enemies can consistently maintain Electro or Pyro auras, making it particularly useful in many Electro-focused teams.
3. Recommended Teams
Aggravate: Keqing + Fischl + Nahida + Kazuha
Aggravate Sustain: Keqing + Fischl + Yaoyao + Kazuha
Quickbloom: Keqing + Fischl + Furina + Nahida
Keqing works especially well in Aggravate teams because her rapid Electro attacks can trigger Aggravate frequently. Fischl is an excellent partner because Keqing’s frequent Electro reactions can also activate Fischl’s additional off-field damage.
4. Main Stats / Substats
Sands: ATK% / Elemental Mastery
Goblet: Electro DMG Bonus
Circlet: CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG
Priority: CRIT → ATK% / Elemental Mastery → Energy Recharge
ATK% and Elemental Mastery are both useful Sands options in Aggravate teams, with the better choice depending on Keqing’s weapon, team buffs, and artifact substats.
Keqing has a relatively low-cost Elemental Burst and normally does not require much Energy Recharge, allowing most of her artifact investment to go toward offensive stats.
5. Playstyle
Use Keqing’s Elemental Skill and reactivate it to teleport to her Lightning Stiletto, giving her Normal and Charged Attacks Electro infusion. She can then use fast attack combinations before activating her Burst and repeating the rotation.
In Aggravate teams, apply Dendro before Keqing begins her main attack sequence. Her short cooldowns and fast Electro application allow her to trigger reactions frequently without requiring a long uninterrupted field-time window.
6. F2P
Keqing performs well without a 5-star weapon, especially because much of her strength in modern teams comes from Aggravate reactions.
Lion’s Roar is a useful accessible option when available, while craftable swords can also be used depending on the player’s weapon collection. F2P players should prioritize balanced CRIT, ATK, and Elemental Mastery rather than treating a premium weapon as necessary.
*StoryBillion Tip: Keqing’s Elemental Skill does more than provide mobility. Reactivating the Lightning Stiletto gives her Electro infusion, while using a Charged Attack instead causes the Stiletto to produce separate Electro attacks. Choosing between these options can help adapt her rotation to different situations.
