When you’re ready to leave the Serenitea Pot, you might automatically reach for the Serenitea Pot Gadget again.
But you don’t actually need to use the Gadget every time you want to return to Teyvat.
There’s a much quicker way: open the map, switch back to Teyvat, and teleport directly to any available Teleport Waypoint.
Open the Map While You’re Inside the Serenitea Pot
While you’re in your Serenitea Pot, open the map as you normally would.
The map will initially show your current Serenitea Pot realm.
From here, use the map’s region selection menu to switch away from the Serenitea Pot and select Teyvat.
Once the Teyvat map appears, you can choose an available Teleport Waypoint and teleport there directly.
You don’t need to place or use the Serenitea Pot Gadget first.
Teleport Directly to Where You Want to Go
The biggest advantage of this method is that you don’t simply leave the Serenitea Pot—you can immediately travel to your next destination.
For example, if you want to continue exploring in Fontaine, visit Mondstadt, or teleport near a Domain, you can select an appropriate waypoint directly from the map.
Instead of:
Open Inventory → Find Serenitea Pot → Place Gadget → Interact With It → Return to Teyvat
you can simply:
Open Map → Switch to Teyvat → Choose a Waypoint → Teleport
It’s faster and puts you exactly where you want to go.
You Don’t Have to Return to the Same Place
Leaving the Serenitea Pot this way doesn’t require you to return to the location where you originally entered it.
You can teleport to any available waypoint you can normally access.
This makes the Serenitea Pot much more convenient when you’re using it between other activities.
You can enter the realm, take care of whatever you need to do, and then teleport directly to your next destination.
This Is Useful for Quick Serenitea Pot Visits
Many Serenitea Pot visits don’t take very long.
You might only be entering to:
- Collect Realm Currency
- Claim Realm Bounty
- Talk to Tubby
- Manage furnishings
- Check your plants
- Visit Companions
- Collect available rewards
When you’re finished, opening the map and teleporting directly back to Teyvat saves you from going through the Gadget again.
The Serenitea Pot Gadget Still Has a Use
This shortcut doesn’t make the Serenitea Pot Gadget unnecessary.
The Gadget is still one way to enter your realm from Teyvat.
The difference is that once you’re already inside, you don’t have to repeat the Gadget process just to leave.
Using the world map is usually the more convenient option when you simply want to return to normal exploration.
You Can Also Teleport Within the Serenitea Pot
The map isn’t only useful for leaving your realm.
If you’ve placed Sub-Space Waypoints in your Serenitea Pot, you can use them to move between different parts of your realm without traveling there manually.
This can be especially useful if your realm layout has grown large or you frequently visit specific areas.
So whether you’re moving around inside the Serenitea Pot or returning to Teyvat, checking the map first can save you some unnecessary travel.

When you’re finished in the Serenitea Pot, don’t immediately open your inventory.
Open the map → Switch to Teyvat → Select a Teleport Waypoint → Teleport.
It’s a simple shortcut, but it makes quick visits to the Serenitea Pot much more convenient.
